– Ailing music star Robin Gibb proved his devotion to Britain’s armed forces on Monday by leaving his sick bed to perform with soldiers on U.K. TV.
The Bee Gees legend was hospitalized in Oxford, England earlier this month after suffering acute abdominal pains, caused by inflammation of the colon. He was discharged last week and the singer honored his commitments by turning up for an appearance on The Alan Titchmarsh Show to promote I’ve Gotta Get a Message to You, the charity single he has recorded to raise money for troops.
Gibb stunned viewers with his gaunt appearance, but declined to answer questions about his health during an interview with presenter Titchmarsh. –
Although only 61 years old, Robin Gibb looks much older, and very fragile, but his poor health did not stop his spirit, as he bravely hit the stage with a British band called The Soldiers, to sing “Gotta Get a Message to You.”
He still sounds amazing despite his illness and hospitalization this month, and you can watch his performance below.
Mend quickly Robin!
